Carbon Stenciling
Commonly known as Naked Raku, in this technique, pots are coated with a thick slip or a slip and glaze before firing.  This coating cracks upon heating and the carbon that enters the cracks in post-firing reduction creates black patterned lines against a white background.  These achromatic, highly burnished pots appeal most to a sleek, modern aesthetic.Carbon Stenciling:I 'm a title.
